Mission
To provide a structured 9-month training program using high-fidelity simulation, didactic and precepted clinical rotations to develop advanced clinical decision making for the advancement in the management of critically ill patients and improving the transition to practice of the novice APP.
Vision
The vision of the fellowship is to provide didactic and clinical experiences to promote professional growth of the APP and their transition into the clinical practice setting.
Philosophy
- Enhance the clinical knowledge, skill set and clinical expertise of APP learners in order to provide safe, high-quality and evidence-based care to critically ill adults.
- Improve confidence and competency of novice APPs in performing and providing therapeutic interventions
- Cultivate well-rounded providers, leaders and valued resources within the healthcare team.
